It's natural... you've just purchased your fantastic new Babi product and you want to keep it looking as good as new. Luckily we have you covered! Here's a simple guide to keeping your products in tip top shape.

The Babi silicone range was designed to be mighty strong, practical and perfect for every day use. Tear proof, drop proof and flexible enough for even the strongest little hands!
Washing & General Use: Your silicone products are suitable for use in the dishwasher and microwave, just ensure that the contents are not too hot before serving to the child. They are also suitable for use in a steriliser.
Colouration and food stains can occur from time to time, when preparing ingredients such as turmeric, carrot and tomato. This is normal, due to the natural nature of the material. To remove, clean with non abrasive soap, and leave to soak in warm soapy water. You may also try lemon juice and bicarbonate of soda for tougher stains. Please avoid harsh chemicals, as these can impact on the quality finish of the product.
Suction: Suction plates and bowls work best on smooth surfaces, including granite, marble, plastic, glass and metal. Whilst our suction tableware products are designed to be the strongest available on the market, unfortunately, suction is not guaranteed on uneven or some wooden surfaces. If you have any questions regarding the suction of our products on specific surfaces, please contact us here. Suction may need to be reapplied during mealtimes on certain surfaces.
Please wash before first use, and inspect the product carefully. Do not use in the unlikely event that the product has been damaged or broken.

The Babi bamboo range was designed to be strong, safe and resilient for every day use. Being a natural material, it does require a little care and attention!
General Use: Our bamboo products are specially designed to be the strongest on the market, and are able to withstand the rigours of everyday use. That being said, care is required to avoid knocks and drops on hard surfaces, which can cause the bamboo to split or break. The silicone suction rings and spoon head tips are designed to be removed for easier cleaning. Please ensure that the rings and spoon tips have been put in place correctly before use. Our bamboo products are not suitable for the microwave.
Cleaning & Drying: Bamboo products are hand-wash and dry only and not suitable for the dishwasher. Before cleaning, remove the silicone spoon tips and suction rings. This will allow the bamboo to dry properly. The detachable silicone elements are suitable for the dishwasher.
Bamboo has naturally anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties, and so hand washing with only a mild soap is required. Please avoid any harsh chemicals or abrasive materials when cleaning.
Maintenance: To ensure that your product is kept in the best condition, periodically oiling the bamboo product keeps the wood supple and moisturised. We recommend using a small amount of coconut or olive oil on a cloth and gently applying it to the product. Applying oil every 4 weeks will prevent the bamboo from drying out.
